My New Book Is on the Way!

I’ve just signed with Thomas Nelson Books, an imprint of HarperCollins Christian Publishing, for the publication of my next book! Working title: THIS QUESTION OF LOVE: How God Answers Our Deepest Needs and Wildest Hopes. I intend it to be a compelling exploration of what we learn about God’s love in the Trinity. Philip Yancey calls an early draft “a wonderful book tackling a big topic by diving into raw human experience.”

Acquiring editor and associate publisher Daniel Marrs commented, "I’ve been on the lookout for a good book on the Trinity for a long time; I think Timothy is the right messenger. Tim takes this so far beyond a ‘typical’ theology book. The theology is profound and challenging, for sure. But he connects it compellingly with some of humanity’s most deeply felt needs.”

In the book I write, “I believe the Trinity – an old idea some people have given up on – could hold the key to a deeper, more relationally rich faith. In this belief I've found beauty, wonder, and most of all, a sense of being cherished.…If I’m right, what we absorb about the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit can warm our view of God, not complicate it.”
